The New Awareness Ministries Incorporated (NAMI) is a full time, metaphysical/spiritual Ministry, Spiritual Center, Seminary and School. NAMI was established in 1986, offering on campus and distance-learning study adult continuing education courses along with certification programs in metaphysics, parapsychology, theology, holistic, spiritual and psychic sciences, holistic (complementary) and spiritual healing, spiritual and pastoral counseling and all the allied field designated as metaphysical and spiritual. NAMI functions as a metaphysical and spiritual Ministry Seminary, School and Center, training people to become ministers, healing practitioners, teachers, counselors, social workers, spirit mediums, intuitive practitioners and all others interested in fostering the spirituality of humanity. We do not engage in any denominational practices or favor any particular group.

The New Awareness Ministries Incorporated was founded to bridge the gap between New Age, New Thought, Metaphysical, Spiritualist, Neo-Pagan and Mainstream groups. It is concerned with causes rather than effects, action rather than theories and the practical rather than the abstract. The laws and principles taught by NAMI avoid theory, speculation and abstraction, yet revolve around the operation of natural laws and the resulting effect of humanity's cooperation with these laws.

The New Awareness Ministries International honors the wisdom of the world's great spiritual teachers, and our own inner teachers and guides. We look for and find deep threads of truth and insight in spiritual traditions from all over the world. We believe in personal empowerment through awakening the Divine Inner Light. We are dedicated to supporting spiritual self-discovery and to nurturing our souls through spiritual practice, education, service, celebration and community.
