Colonel Oilfield

The Colonel was conceived from pride. That pride came from a group of men who serve on land operations for an energy producer here in the United States.

This pride spreads throughout an entire region and among many trades. We are the minorities in a society that despises us but can't live without petroleum based products that we help bring to surface in one way or another.

There are a few things that are certain in this business:

1. It's a motherfucking hard industry and only the hard prevail.
2. It's a God be damn dangerous business if you don't pay attention.
3. The families of the oilfield man get hardened because he is often absent.
4. The rewards are good and the life is sweet during his days off.
5. The unity of the brotherhood is the best you will find.
6. Laughter on the job is akin to a bandage to an open would.
