Nestled in the sunny climate of The Dalles — just 1.5 hrs east of Portland — Columbia Basin Care is the region’s only community-owned, non-profit, skilled rehabilitation and nursing facility. We believe in a resident-centered approach, with emphasis on personal attention and continuity of care.

We offer a highly skilled, on-site Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, and a team of physical, occupational and speech therapists.

Freshly remodeled, inside and out, Columbia Basin has clean and comfy private and semi-private rooms, and a beautifully landscaped courtyard in which to gather and relax.

Columbia Basin Care Facility is fully staffed to offer intensive, long term medical assistance to those with serious health and dementia conditions.

It's a retirement home that provides for the safety and well-being of residents with challenging physical limitations and/or memory loss.
