The Community Development Corporation of Utah (CDCU) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is a major affordable housing provider throughout Utah. CDCU empowers residents to become and remain successful homeowners and creates vibrant, sustainable communities. Our mission is fulfilled by building new single-and multi-family housing, rehabilitating existing housing stock in low income neighborhoods, providing HUD certified home purchasing advising, and delivering a combination of critical community services including homebuyer education, homeowner case management, mortgage foreclosure mitigation counseling, down payment assistance, and the HomeFit mortgage program, which is a cost effective alternative to FHA mortgage loans.
