The purpose of Jefferson PUD, Olycap and the private sector working together is to help low-income residents utilize efficient, modern, cost-effective technology to reduce energy burden. This new community partnership aims to increase the self-sufficiency of Jefferson County residents by reducing their energy consumption through installation of ductless heat-pump systems, window upgrades and weath-erization retrofits.
