About Community Life Network

Community Life Network opened its doors in July of 2004, after 100 community leaders joined together in a Broad Based Community Advisory Meeting. By building upon the strength of services already available and coordinating them with the addition of various new services traditionally only available at the county level synergies and a logical flow of supports emerge to better promote the health and wellbeing of individuals, families and communities.

The formulation of CLN incorporates into its design the means to move beyond entitlement programs to become fully self-supporting and move toward self-actualization.

Although much of our earlier work has been focused on the disadvantaged, our overriding goals are much broader. Community Life Network is working on proving more resources for the youth of Columbia. CLN is also beginning to get involved with beautification projects of this community rooted in history.
