Our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program taught by a registered nurse (RN) trains students to assist patients in performing basic care at varying levels depending on each patient’s needs. The CNA also reports changes in the patient’s mental or physical status to a licensed nurse. Students receive both theory and classroom lab practice before attending to patients at a clinical facility. The CNA program prepares students to take the Nursing Assistant Test. Successful passage of this State exam provides students with certification as a nursing assistant
