We started out as a chavurah that met one Saturday and one Sunday per month. We also hosted the annual Palm Tree Kallah. In fact, we grew out of the Palm Tree Kallah. In May of this year, we incorporated to be able to conduct the small amount of business associated with our monthly meetings and the annual Palm Tree Kallah.
In late July, Rabbi Lobb became available and we wanted her to be our rabbi. So Eitz Chayim Community changed to Congregation Eitz Chayim to mark the beginning of being a full-service congregation in Port Saint Lucie. We are Reform in our practice and renewal in our full color joyous sense of community.
