Connie's Country Produce

Connie's was established in 1992 as Country Produce but many came to know it as Monks Country Produce due to the brother and sister duo of Tomy Monks and Connie Monks West operating it. In 2003 Tommy decided to retire, so Connie with the help of her daughter, Lauren, kept up the standard of products that customers had come to expect. A few years later Connie's husband retired and joined the team. Larry has done an excellent job of hauling in fresh produce and beautiful flowers. Connie's son farms and raises sweet potatoes for the market. In 2008, Lauren decided to embark on a new endeavor and began making silk flower arrangements and doing custom monogramming... Oh yeah and she got married too!!! So as a tribute to the woman that started it all and has kept ALL of us going, we decided to change our name in honor of her. After all, many folks around here would say... "Go see Connie, she'll fix you up." Or "I got that at Connie's." So if you havent met her, come by and see her!!! (She's GREAT even if she's my mom!!!)







We also have a new addition to the sales team....West Nelson Lambert. He's not running the show yet but give him time!!! Lauren and her husband, Josh, welcomed their first child, West, in September 2012.
