Conway is a town in Northampton County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 836 at the 2010 census. The racial makeup of the town was 65.53% White, 33.24% African American, 0.54% Native American, and 0.68% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.27% of the population.There were 328 households out of which 27.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.8% were married couples living together, 18.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 37.5% were non-families. 35.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
