I started competing in practical pistol competition several years ago. I got the bug, same as the rest of you! First thing to get upgraded was the pistol. At the time I was mainly shooting factory or commercially remanufactured rounds suitable for plinking. Then as I dove deeper I discovered the ammo side of things. The best trigger pulls required use of soft primers seated deep. I already had a press from my precision rifle days, so I started making pistol ammunition for my own use. A couple years went by.

I started noticing lots of others starting to dive into competition shooting, doing the same thing I did but stopping short of rolling their own ammo. I immediately recognized a need. I could offer for sale the same competition loads used by all of the top guys, making low recoil ammo with exceptional reliability. In the fall of 2015 I got my FFL and opened for business selling commercially remanufactured 9mm and 40 S&W.

What sets our ammo apart is every single round is inspected prior to shipment by a competition shooter, both with a case gauge and a visual inspection to cull any less than optimal rounds. We use the softest primers available and seat them very deep. This is verified in the inspection process to guarantee ignition in the most finicky tuned match guns. Additionally our ammo is very consistent. You measure a projectile's speed with a chronograph. Over 10 rounds the extreme spread (from lowest FPS to highest FPS) is routinely around 15 FPS (2 power factor on 147s, less than 2 on 124s) and our standard deviation is usually a single digit. That’s important for passing chrono at sanctioned matches.

9mm loads are developed to make minor in a 4” barrel. 40 S&W loads are developed to make major in 5.25” Glock barrels, but velocities are similar in 5” 1911/2011 platforms.
