Cook Motorcars Ltd began in 1962 as Emery Cook Motors, a single point Volkswagen dealership in Aberdeen MD. The dealership was one of the earliest Volkswagen franchises in the country and remains one of the oldest continuously family owned Volkswagen dealers in the country. The dealership opened in its presents location in 1967.

In 1975 Mazda was added as Americans were first learning the dependability of Japanese vehicles. Mazda offered an innovative rotary powered engine which combined efficiency and ease of maintenance. In 1983, with the acquisition of Hoppers Chrysler-Plymouth Dodge Cook Auto Group could offer a vehicle for almost every buyers needs and budget.

Today we proudly continue serving Harford County as a locally owned second generation business and look forward to serving the needs of the community.
