CORAL NOLAN has been teaching in this area since 1977. Coral has seen many students learn to love the art of dance, and some to continue on to professional careers.
Coral received most of her training on the West Coast. She was the pupil of Nicholas Vasilieff, who was principal dancer of: The
San Francisco Opera Ballet, Hollywood Bowl Ballet and Ballet Theatre of New York. She also studied with and took classes from Leon Folkine, Michael Somes, Alan Howard (Pacific Ballet Co. and San Francisco Ballet) and Harold Christensen (San Francisco Ballet).
She performed with the Theatre Arts Opera Association in Portland Oregon for a number of years, and professionally performed with Mercer Ballet Company in New Jersey (Now the Atlantic CityBallet Company), directed by Phyllis Papa.
