Cornerstone Glass

Born from a garage studio in the heart of Eugene, Oregon, Cornerstone Glass grew from the spirit of choice and independence in the boom of glass tobacco pipe production. Skilled glassblowers were looking for consistent outlets to create their pieces with the freedom and ability to design their own product lines and work their own hours…thus a “cooperative” style distribution company was developed.
Owner, Justin Sheppard, started blowing glass in 1995 and started Cornerstone Glass in 1999. In 2001 after various Eugene location Cornerstone Glass moved into a 5000 square foot warehouse to develop another building block of the business. The shop now accommodates over 30 individual glass blowing stations for rental, and has become one of the most respected and innovative lampworking facilities in the Northwest. In addition to studio rental, our on-site store supplies a diverse selection of raw glass materials, tools, and equipment. We pride ourselves in providing a solid location with the best working environment in which people may develop their glass talents and pursue their entrepreneurial ventures.
Cornerstone Glass has become a hub for some of the most talented artists in our country. At our annual Degenerate Flame Off event, we host and showcase the many talented artists of functional glass art nationwide. Bringing together such a broad range of individuals under such fun and professional circumstances inspires collaboration and creates an amazing outlet for the glass blowing community.
