Family-Owned and Operated, Classically trained in Havana, Cuba we bring the technique of old and three generations of experience to our unique blend of tobacco to produce great cigars.

At Cortez, brothers Kristian and Luis, positioned the first store, factory & lounge using their experience in the tobacco industry, from growing, fermenting, curing to blending, manufacturing and aging; the blends they have created have made a mark and have expanded.

We importers, exporters and manufactures of our own cigars blends from the finest tobacco in the world into their unique blends and to your hands by using the best tobacco from Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Brazil, USA (Connecticut), Honduras, Ecuador & Peru.

Throughout the years we have been steadily perfecting our blends and established a factory outside Santiago, Dominican Republic. Our Cigars are currently sold at our two Cortez locations in the DMV and New Jersey, in over 30 fine tobacco shops & nationwide on our website.

Currently have a Full service Cigar Smoking Lounge located in the Heart of Downtown Silver Spring where you can find over 45 of our Cigar blends, Friendly and Knowledgable Staff. Our cigar lounge is open to our customers during business hours, comfortable environment to enjoy a cigar, watch favorite sports and relax, equipped with Wi-Fi.

Also specializing in Cigar Rolling events with highly trained and qualified cigar rollers.
