FUSED GLASS (aka Warm Glass & Kiln-formed Glass) uses a variety of processes (with compatible glass) along with time, and kiln temperature to soften and change the viscous of glass. The most common processes are fusing, slumping & casting. There are MANY more processes, and more being developed on a continuous basis.
Kiln cycles can range from as little as 2 hours to a full day, based on the type of glass used, the size, thickness and the desired effect.
I have been working and studying glass for over 30 years....with glass the possibilities are endless...
I LOVE IT!!! I am in the studio most of the time would love to share glass with you.
