Here in Southeast Colorado... we don't have to worry about hurricanes, sharks, alligators, high humidity, tidal waves, tsunami, earthquakes and etc.

What we do have is open skies, sunrises and sunsets that are something you have to see to appreciate. Why else would Pierre Auger want to plan a $100 million plan to study cosmic rays in our open skies. They will have one of two in the world right here in Southeast Colorado. Of course we have some wind but when the wind does settle down and we get a rain this is the most awesome country you could ask for.

The history in this area is another story. Plains and Canyons are off and running in organizing a history tour that you better have the time for when you get started. There is bird watching that some come from clear across the country to see some rare birds that are only in Southeast Colorado. There are all kinds of tours that are waiting for you that will take you back in time.
