Founded in 1894, the Country Club of Bristol open to public play, is one of the longest-running clubs in the country, and it is the birthplace of organized golf in the state of Tennessee. The Club’s course features a challenging 6,474-yard, par-71 layout that is situated on 150 acres of rolling hills. The course was reshaped in 1999 by the Mark McCumber design group. The changes were executed by Course Crafters, the same company responsible for reshaping Augusta National.
