Country Cowboy Church
Where the home fire burns
Our church is a warm, inviting, welcoming place – much like a campfire.
A campfire is a gathering place, a place of fellowship perhaps to share a meal and a story.
As a vital congregation we seek to provide warmth and light to those who may ‘come in from the cold’.
Most have stared into a campfire, taking in its warmth, lost in thought as the light from the fire seems to transport us. This is much like God’s grace; warm, enveloping, yet somewhat surreal because we cannot physically grasp and hold onto it.
The light of the fire draws us in from the darkness, the light can erase darkness and fill the cold, dead spirit with warmth and vitality. Jesus is the light of the world.
God’s family will work together to keep the campfire alive. All who come will join together to tend the fire, replenish the supplies and welcome newcomers into the circle.
