Country Market has been owned and operated by George Dawson and his family since 1967. After 3 moves and one tornado, Country Market is now located at 1610 Wabash Avenue. We are a family owned, local grocery store specializing in selling locally grown, harvested and sourced items. We’re stocked with regional brands such as Kathy’s Kitchen jelly and pickles, Onofrio’s sauces, Lonzerotti’s salad dressing, Zillion’s and Booker’s chili seasoning, Plank’s fruit butters, Opal’s taffy and Oakland noodles.
