Country Peddler

30 miles west of Redding Ca. up in the mountains of northern
Calififornia, is The Country Peddler Antiques, Nostalgia and Gifts in
the heart of historic Lewiston. Located across from the Old Lewiston
Bridge on the Trinity River, the 1860 store was once the Paulsen's
General Store and Stage Stop. It is graced by the original old gas pumps
and air pump. Inside, is the oldest bar in Trinity County which came
from the old Dedrick Mine. There is a trememdous assortment of old
plugs, bamboo rods, creels decoys and anything fishing for sale.
Furniture from the 1800's to vintage and cottage, rustic traps and saws,
nostalgic signs, linens and lodge cabin and local art are also for
sale. ....AND ,, in the summertime local FRESH PICKED PEACHES.
The proprietor Terri Hazeleur and her husband started the store 34
years ago. It is open Fridays, Saturdays and most holidays from 10-4
