CHC Statistics for 2016
- 1,827 youth served between Los Angeles and Bay Area shelter sites. Services offered to all youth include shelter, medical and mental health support, food, clothing, as well as educational and vocational support.
- 4,483 young people were helped by our Day and Street Outreach teams, supporting youth with hygiene items, food and water, clothing, as well as connections to local resources.
- 135,780 hot meals served to young people between our Bay Area and Los Angeles programs.
- 493 job placements and 181 education placements thanks to the support of case managers, career specialists, education specialists and mentors.
- 45,260 nights of care provided to young people in safe and secure shelters located in Los Angeles and the Bay Area.
