Covenant Kids Child Development Center

In order to provide the best possible learning environment for your child, Covenant Presbyterian Church built a center called "Covenant Kids" in 2008. We serve infants beginning at age 6 weeks through 5 years old. In the summer time we extend our services to include older youth up to age 8.

Your child’s safety is our first concern. We have a coded entry as well as video cameras throughout the building and on the playground. We meet or exceed the DHR teacher/child ratios.

Our director, Kim Herbert, has over 25 years experience in youth services. Previously she served as Executive Director of Brantwood Children's Home for 9 years. Prior to moving to Alabama, Kim served as the Director of Little Blessings Day Care Ministry and as the Program Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Decatur County. Kim and her husband Bob (an Investigator for the State) have three sons; Jason, Joshua & Jacob. Jason, an attorney, is married to Sydney Anderson Herbert. Joshua works in construction and Jacob serves in the Air National Guard.

The daily teaching curriculum incorporates many hands-on education activities to teach your child basic letter recognition, phonics skills, number skills, colors and shapes. The faith-based Pinnacle Curriculum is used in our classes beginning with the toddler age group. Scripture memory verses and songs are a daily part of activities.

We also provide time for your child to learn through self-discovery at learning centers using arts & crafts, blocks, books, puzzles, music, and nature.

Social skills are developed through sharing, taking turns, forgiving and loving each other.

Tuition includes two snacks and lunch daily for children eating table food.

Located at the corner of Arden Road and Atlanta Highway in mid-town Montgomery, we offer a convenient drop-off for parents on their way to work. We are also convenient to Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base.

We offer a 15% per week second-child discount and a $10 a week discount for children of active members of Covenant Presbyterian Church!
