Cowtown Canine's Shadows For Life

In December of 2014 Brittany Pugliese founded the Organization Cowtown Canines Shadows For Life! Both Brittany had already been devoting her life to saving animals and had been doing so through out Johnson and Tarrant County for years! CCSFL got its name in remembrance of Brittany's father, Michael Pugliese! Michael Pugliese was the founder of Shadows For Life, a non-profit organization that trained service and therapy dogs for those physically, mentally, and emotionally disabled! Sadly, Michael Pugliese passed away in July of 2012 and Brittany's world was crushed. She had to dissolve her fathers organization and find homes for all of his dogs! She continued with the rescue work that her father and her had done in the past, but it was all strictly funded out of her own pocket! Having worked in just about every field of the dog industry including vet tech, dog training, and kennel management Brittany knew her way around the dog world pretty well! She also owns Cowtown Canines, a dog daycare and boarding facility in West Fort Worth!

The main objective Brittany has is education! You will often hear her informing people of the importance of neutering, vaccinating, socializing, microchipping, and training your pets!

Brittany goes by the saying "It Takes A Village" and she wants everyone to realize how true that statement is! We cannot expect to have empty shelters and homes for all of our animals with out education and contributions!
