YOU COULD BE A HERO, IT IS EASY AS AED!!

Heartsaver and Healthcare provider CPR classe are available by appointment. Classes will be taught by American Heart Association instructor, Carie Kuras RN, BSN, CCRN.

Anyone can learn CPR and how to follow the links in the CHAIN OF SURVIVAL
1) Recognizing sudden cardiac arrest
2)Activating EMS
3) doing compressions
4)apply and AED
Theses are the first links in the chain of survival.
Performing bystander CPR increases a persons chance of survival. For every one minute that passes and a person is waiting for a defibrillator, there chance of survival decreases by 10%. So in just 4 minutes their chance of survival is
60%. We need to learn to react quickly and efficiently.
The American Heart Association no longer requires bystanders to do mouth to mouth. HANDS ONLY CPR is now a recommendation.
Sudden Cardiac arrest can happen anytime or anywhere. So look around you, in public places for the AED, and with the proper training , you can be an informed and trained bystander. YOU COULD BE A HERO !!!!
