Creative Learning Academy

Creative Learning Academy is Pensacola’s premier preparatory school for preschool through 8th grade students. The Academy provides a rigorous and challenging educational experience that goes beyond the usual definitions of academic excellence, empowering students to become confident lifelong achievers. Academy students develop the critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and self-motivation that distinguish our graduates and inspire them to excel in IB and advanced placement programs in high school and beyond.

History:
Creative Learning Academy was established in 1972 as the Montessori Learning Academy at Temple Beth El. In 1975, the school’s name was changed to Creative Learning Center and in 1978 CLC moved to the facility on Hyde Park Road. By1980 the school included grades Preprimary through 8th grades, and by 1983 the Florida Council of Independent Schools and the Florida Kindergarten Council granted accreditation to CLC. In 2003, the Creative Learning Center became Creative Learning Academy.
