My name is Michael J Cox. I was born, and have lived my life, here in Lake county. I've been in the pest control business for 25 years. Before my wife Stephanie and I started Creative Pest Solutions, I was working for a company I had invested 17 years of my life helping to build, and gave my every loyalty to. One day I woke up and realized I just couldn't go any further. No way for promotions, no way to grow, and no way to build a legacy for my wife and 5 children. I decided it's never too late to start. Seemingly all odds were against us; with almost no money saved, and everyone around us saying,"the economy is horrible", "there is too much competition", "this is the worst time and season". We did our research, we prayed, and then we took a huge leap of faith. Let me say we've had our share of battles; we faced Goliath and we prevailed. However, I have to give credit where credit is due. God has definitely had our backs.We made many decisions about what we wanted to be as a pest control company if we were to be successful, and 4 words sum it up: Creative, Authentic, Better,Caring.


1. Creative: We needed to study and understand the newest most innovative methods and tools to solve pest problems as well as using creativity to produce our own.


2. Authentic: We pride ourselves in running our business in a reliable, trustworthy and dependable manner.

3. Better: We needed to set ourselves apart from the competition by going above and beyond what they are willing to do. What that simply means is doing everything you do 100 percent, as you would if it were your own family. Say what you mean and do what you say, which leads me to my last point.

4. Caring: Zig Ziglar said, "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care".




When you are genuine and authentic, people can see it, but more then that, they can feel it. Yes, we want more customers, but we want them to be our friends and feel like family. You see we aren't just building a business here; we are building a legacy and family. we would like very much to have the opportunity to welcome you to Creative Pest Solutions family, as well as safeguard you and yours year round under our shield of protection.
