Creature Comforts

Creature Comforts was established in 1975 in Elmira NY. Our Original store was named Pet World and was only 1200 sq. ft. in size, located in a small retail center.
In 1979 we sold the Elmira store and opened in our present location in Northgate Plaza in Binghamton, NY.
Since opening in Binghamton we have grown several times to our present size of approx. 10,000 sq. ft. of sales space with a full line of supplies and livestock that will please all customers from beginners to the advanced hobbyist. In 1996 our store was named one of the top 100 pet stores in the U.S.A. In 1998 we constructed our own free standing building at the entrance to Northgate Plaza and established the premier pet center in the northeast. We've had many wonderful employees who frequently come back to say "Hello." We recognize we're in the pet business but we believe we're in the people business too! We want the business to grow and we can only do that with dedicated employees and loyal customers. We will do everything we possibly can in the years to come to make Creature Comforts an enjoyable place to work and shop.
