Croatan Sport Shooters Club is a group with the common goal of providing safe and fun events promoting Shooting Sports. Whether you are a resident or a visitor to the Outer Banks, every 2nd Saturday* (weather permitting) you can join in with like minded people for typically 5-stages of a safe and friendly day of competition at the range.

What Is ‘Action Pistol Shooting’?
Action Pistol is open to all individuals who are interested in “Action” courses of fire, which combine speed, accuracy, movement and strategy while shooting at multiple targets of steel and cardboard/paper.

What Do I Need In Order To Participate?
• Centerfire handgun (semi-auto or revolver / 9mm or larger, no magnums)
• Strong side, outside the waistband holster
• Magazines, 3 or more depending on capacity (or speed loaders)
• Magazine holders
• Up to 150 rounds of ammunition
• A ‘safety first’ attitude
• Please note that there are NO gun rentals, or ammo sales at the facility
