Crosbyton is a city in and the county seat of Crosby County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,741 at the 2010 census. Crosbyton is part of the Lubbock Metropolitan Statistical Area.HistoryThe city was named for land office commissioner Stephen Crosby.GeographyCrosbyton is located slightly northeast of the center of Crosby County at, along U.S. Route 82 about 2mi west of Blanco Canyon at the eastern edge of the Llano Estacado.
