Cross Roads Preschool and Kindergarten

Cross Roads Preschool & Kindergarten is a non-profit organization licensed and regulated by the State of Arizona Department of Health Services and follows the standards and guidelines established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). These two regulating bodies establish and oversee the compliance of a myriad of safety and educational standards based on research focused on the development and education of young children.

In addition to the outstanding curriculum and staff, Cross Roads offers an experience unlike other preschools.

- Standard 4-Hour Day -
Students are invited to a 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM school day. Parents and children needing more flexibility can take advantage of Early Care and/or After Care offered daily. Further customization is possible by choosing which days your child attends. Further schedule and program details can be found on our website.

- Music, Spanish and A.C.T.I.V.E Classes -
Every week Cross Roads kids have special time set aside for music, Spanish and A.C.T.I.V.E. classes. This time really enhances children's early learning experience. They learn about metamorphosis through a song in music class; they begin appreciating another language in Spanish class; they learn about sportsmanship and the importance of physical activity in A.C.T.I.V.E. class, and so much more.

- Lunch with the Teachers -
Lunchtime can be a great time to learn about food and manners as well as socialize with friends. Students are invited to bring their lunches every day and eat with their class before the school day is done (excludes Time for Two program).

- Snack Provided Daily -
Nutritious snacks are provided in all classrooms every day at no additional cost. A snack calendar is provided every month so parents know what their kids are eating.

- Peanut-Free Campus -
Safety is taken seriously at Cross Roads. Parents of children with a peanut allergy can breathe a little easier knowing that the entire school is peanut-free. Further food restrictions are addressed in individual classrooms based on need.

- Fun-filled Traditions -
From Plant Day to the annual Kid’s Fun Run, Cross Roads knows how to have fun. Through various school-wide classroom activities and events involving the whole family the school has truly built a community within a community.
