Crossfit 1873

Join one of the most effective and fastest growing strength and conditioning training methods. CrossFit training is based upon a workout system of constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity. "What does this mean for you?" You become stronger at movements you perform in everyday life. A typical training session lasts about an hour and is conducted in a group, creating the atmosphere of team support, motivation, intensity, and fun. CrossFit is always performed under the guidance of certified coaches, who will ensure proper mechanics and consistency, and monitor the performance and progress of each athlete. All of our programs are scalable, making a perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.

CrossFit 1873 was founded in 2013 with the intent to give the personnel of the Ventura County Sheriff's Office a resource to help meet the physical demands of the law enforcement professional and everyday life. Named after the founding year of the Sheriff's Office, CF 1873 is a official CrossFit affiliate, with Deputy Sheriff's as your Level 1 trainers.

CrossFit Classes are Monday and Wednesday at 1830 hours, Tuesday and Thursday at 1730 hours, and Fridays at 1100 hours.
