Crossfit KIDS-Nation

CrossFit Kids is an exercise program designed to improve kids’ fitness levels across broad domains. These include cardiovascular and muscular endurance, stamina, strength, accuracy, agility, coordination, balance, flexibility, power, and speed. Our workouts are highly varied and fun! Each class follows the same format each time, making it easy for our participants to follow along and engage fully in each session. All ages and ability levels are encouraged to take classes. We work functional fitness—moving the body the way it was designed to move using monkey bars, medicine balls, games, boxes, squats, pull-ups, and all kinds of other activities
Scholastic achievement is linked directly with levels of higher functioning in the brain. We include time at the end of each class for play and intellectual activities and even homework. After all, it has been scientifically proven that exercise stimulates neural growth in the brain and scholastic performance. This means that after exercise, the brain is primed for learning.
CFKids has also been shown to help improve challenges associated with autistic syndromes, such as Asperger’s, ADD, ADHD, and sensory integration disorders.
