At CrossFit Rekkr we focus on using correct form and technique every time we use any movement. This allows these functional movements to transfer into our daily lives so we can function longer in life, lift more, and benefit from all components of CrossFit.

Here we believe in safe teaching methods and a strong sense of community because together we WILL accomplish more. We also make conscious efforts to take an active part in our community by having a presence at local events as well as employing Eco-Friendly habits. Life styles today stress us out and keep us busy.

At CrossFit Rekkr we want to make sure you can achieve your goals in as effective way as safely possible. CrossFit employs short and intense workouts using functional movements and these worlouts are what make CrossFit so effective. We always strive to be efficient in our workouts and our skills, so this efficiency should be in our lives as well. We all have hectic lives in this world, so if you are going to be and stay healthy why spend 3 hours every day at the gym running like a hamster and getting nowhere, when you can accomplish better results with a shorter workout, with friends, having fun, a few times a week? Some of What Goes On
We bring a big city CrossFit style to a small town community. Every day (but Sunday) our trainers hold group classes at many convenient times for you that incorporate the 10 components of fitness and CrossFit method to push our athletes to new levels of fitness in the most efficient and unique ways possible. A typical workout at CrossFit Rekkr starts with our trainers leading the class through a full body warm up focusing on the muscles to be used that day. Then the class will go over a particular skill (lifts, gymnastic moves, strength building, etc.) to keep improving our fitness or we may jump straight into the “WOD” or “Workout Of the Day.”

Before the workout and the skill, our trainers warm up and demonstrate with the class all movements and skills to be performed so everyone in the entire class is comfortable with the requirements. Then we get ready to work.

When it’s time for the WOD, the music starts and coaches will give the “3…2…1…GO!!” and then the fun begins. The WOD lasts on average anywhere between 7 – 20 minutes and will always follow the CrossFit method of constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity. So expect to work and sweat. (or glow/shine, whatever it is you ladies might do)

Every WOD can be done “Rx” (“as prescribed”) or scaled. This classification is done so YOU can see where YOU personally are and still perform at your best within your current fitness level. The scale allows ANYONE to complete the WOD regardless of fitness level, age, weight, or any other factors. You only compete against yourself here. So do not be afraid if you see a movement or weight you cannot perform! Our trainers will help you modify it for your personal workout so you can safely complete the workout and get the most benefit from it.
