Crossroads Corral

Everyone reaches a Crossroads in his or her life at some point or another. When faced with a Crossroads you have the power to choose your next path and horses can assist with “carrying” you down that road. They are powerful and beautiful animals that easily develop relationships, trust, loyalty and non-verbal communication with humans. Working alongside of a horse creates confidence and can help people to overcome challenges in life. Horses have many different personalities, and because of this they provide learning opportunities for all types of people. They have a heightened sensitivity to human emotion and a capability to mirror human behavior. Through their body language, horses show us how we impact those around us. Horses are naturally intuitive, emotional, honest and creative, they teach us to take risks, problem solve, be confident and experiment.

Crossroads Corral is a non-profit organization based in Central Florida that provides equine assisted learning (EAL) and equine assisted psychotherapy (EAP) to at risk youth, veterans suffering from PTSD and women facing challenging times. Participants can expect positive strides in the areas of self-awareness, trust, confidence, problem solving, responsibility and more.
