Crowd Funding Cars TO BE MODIFIED WHEN NAME CHANGE IS APPOVED

Crowd Funding Cars is a collaboration between
Mark of Excellence Body Works and Linford Restoration and Performance of St. George, Utah for the purpose of allowing those with an interest but without the means to participate in the restoration and ownership of Restored and Custom Built Classic Automobiles.

Crowd Funding Cars is a unique opportunity for those who have an interest in the preservation of Classic Automobiles to become a part of the hobby by helping to fund Restorations and Custom Built cars. Participants will have an opportunity to win the vehicle that they participate in funding. Our goal is to enter this in the Guinness Book of World Records as the first car custom build car funded through Crowd Funding.

Participants will be entered in a drawing conducted by an independent accounting firm and a lucky winner will be selected at random.
Everyone will be able to follow the build on Facebook on a weekly basis. From time to time, we will go live during completion of each phase and everyone will be able to watch as the project comes together.

We also have a web page www.crowdfundingcars.net where you can view past and future projects as well as follow along. The web site and Facebook pages will also provide restoration tips and pictures of past and future restoration projects for sale or participation.
Mark of Excellence Body Works is owned by Mark Mallek and is in St. George, Utah. Mark has XX year of experience in restoring and building both classic and custom cars. Originally from Central Wisconsin, Mark relocated to St. George to enjoy the warmer climate and pursue his passion for building high quality show cars. His most recent achievement was the building of a 1967 Corvette that was selected as a Feature Car by House of Color for the 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV.

The Corvette is known as My Spirit of America and is owned by Ron Gunderson of St. George, UT. This car is featured on both our Facebook and Web Pages.. It features a uniquely airbrushed American Flag by Ryno Templeton of Anaheim, CA. and is dedicated to the men and women of our armed forces..

Linford Restoration and Performance is owned by Paul Linford of St. George, UT. Paul is a private collector and restorer and has restored and collected classic cars for 50 years. His specialty is 55 through 57 Thunderbirds and 64 through 69 Mustangs. He has restored and owned a number of award winning Mustangs and Thunderbirds over the years.

The first project being offered through Crowd Funding Cars is a 1950 Chevrolet 5 Window Short Bed Pickup Truck that is already under construction. This truck is currently under construction and should be ready for paint by mid-January 2017. Over $10,000 has been invested in the reconstruction to date. This is not a wanna be, it is already happening and you can be a part of it.

The Truck will feature A custom cab with a one-piece hood and shaved door handles. The interior will feature air conditioning and full-length console with power bucket seats. Interior scheme is currently projected to be burgundy leather with gray accents.

The frame features a Nova front end and is completely boxed for added rigidity. The Five Window is powered by a balanced and blue printed 350 Chev engine hitched up 350 GM Transmission. The Fifty will ride on a set of custom wheels and tires.

Paint scheme being considered is: metallic burgundy with gray interior and burgundy accents.

Crowd Funding Cars proposes to raise $45,000 through crowd funding partners whose names will be enshrined on a poster that will go with the car. Our goal is to enter this in the Guinness Book of World Records as the first car custom build car funded through Crowd Funding.
Completion date is projected for April 2017 but could be moved up or delayed pending unknown factors that are inherent in custom builds such as this.

Initial funds will be returned to the operating account and applied to the next project and in which partners will share in the next project, a 1965 Rambler Marlin Resto Rod that will feature a modern drive train and suspension and custom body and interior..
