My name is Catherine Rayburn-Trobaugh, and I have been a professional writer for more than 20 years. I began my career in college as a stringer for the local newspaper, and after graduation, I wrote press releases, PSAs and copy for not-for-profits. After taking a few years off to attend graduate school and to teach college writing courses, I returned to private industry.

In the following years, I expanded my skills to include technical documents, grant applications, government reports, web content and articles as well as graphic designs such as brochures, newsletters and advertisements. In 2008, I started CRT Writing, and last year I changed the name to CRT Commercial Media to reflect the trend toward comprehensive communication.
