Envisioned and birthed in June, 2009, Cultural Cool is a Culturally Centered Entertainment Experience which features performers from varied musical and artistic backgrounds, including vocalists, poets, musicians, MC's and visual artists. "Signature" provides our LIVE soundtrack and is comprised of: Ric Rhoadz, keyboard/MD, Marcus Heffner, bass & Winston Dyer, Drums. Vocalists, Candace Carpenter & Kerchell Flexx are writers, background singers & accomplished soloists. Spear-headed & Hosted by Elena Love, this vocalist, writer & performance poet maintains an engaging and energetic show! Visual stimuli provided by resident artist & painter: Parris Gill Sr. This Soul & Poetry Open Mic showcases some of the most incredible local and independent performers with rotating featured artists.
