Custer Road United Methodist Church

Custer Road United Methodist Church has been serving the Plano community and beyond for more than 30 years. From its first service, where 29 families joined, the congregation of Custer Road UMC has since grown to more than 4,000 members.

We offer three Sunday morning worship services. Our services at 9 & 10:30am in the Sanctuary, offer the opportunity to worship God in a more traditional service known for its broad variety of music. Or join us at 9 am in our Chapel for our "Lectio" worship service which is a teaching service where Holy Communion is served weekly.

Contemporary youth worship is held on Sunday evenings. From vibrant youth and children’s programs to a wide variety of adult Sunday school classes and Bible study offerings to grow in your faith, Custer Road UMC is one of the reasons our large congregation experiences that “small church” feeling.

Community outreach has long been an important aspect of Custer Road UMC’s ministries. Early monetary support and personal involvement in both a local women’s shelter and homeless family shelter were only the beginnings of our extensive missions and care ministry outreach programs today.
