Cut Hill is a small pygmy breeding and chicken (eggs) farm that was started from a young man's 4-H experience.
Cordell Besser is the owner and founder of Cut Hill Farm. He fell in love with goats during his 2016 Market Goat project. He raised two boer goats, one of which he showed and auctioned off at the Coshocton County Fair. (He intends to take the other as a Pack Goat project in 2017.)
The previous year, in 2015, he took a Market Chicken project for 4-H, and learned a lot. After that, he started his flock of laying chickens. He sold eggs to fund his 2016 Market Goat project.
Because of these factors, Cordell Besser was the 2016 Goat Medal of Honor winner for Coshocton County 4-H.
Cordell's main goal is to breed pygmy goats for 4-H projects and companions.
