The population density was 2,328.6 people per square mile (898.6/km²). There were 3,942 housing units at an average density of 1,037.9/sq mi (400.5/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 94.09% White, 1.92% African American, 0.28% Native American, 1.68% Asian, 0.86% from other races, and 1.16% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.10% of the population.There were 3,584 households out of which 27.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.2% were married couples living together, 8.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.6% were non-families. 23.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.42 and the average family size was 2.84.
