D2 Motorsports

In 1975 Bill Donnelly started his racing career. Tearing up tracks from Indiana all the way to Oklahoma. Running the wheels off everything from Go Karts, Street Stocks, and finally ending his career in a Super Modified. Bill's racing legacy would HAVE to go on. In 1986, pulling up dirt at Tulsa Speedway in his #65 Super Mod, a boy was brought up with dirt, oil and race fuel. And with this, D2 was born!
In 2001, Rob got his 1st race car at the age of 15 in Micro Sprint car, the legend and legacy continues on.
Rob has had 5 A-Feature checkered flags including a Pete Frazier Memorial Race win in 2005.

The '2' in D2 comes from Rob being the second Donnelly to race. D Squared. But since putting "Squared" on the side of the Micro was too long, especially for the wing, "Squared" got shortened to '2' and D2 was official!

March through October, electric bill allowing, every Saturday night, you can find Bill, Rob, and the D2 team and crew hanging out in the pits and we sure would love to see anyone come by! The kids are always welcome after the race and we love chatting with ya'll!
