D24 Sports was founded by Chris Downing, a NASM certified personal trainer, and elite strength and conditioning coach for high school, college and professional athletes. NFL and NBA athletes on down to the soccer mom have all graced the D24 gym and their presence has been felt. They all grew to be apart of this gym as if they were family. This gym is about getting better. It's about accepting yourself and others. And finding progress by giving birth to the greatness that lies within you. This gym is about change. The kind of change you have always hoped for.

About the Founder:
As a former college athlete himself, Chris Downing played basketball at Cuyohoga Community College before transferring to play at Alfred University in New York. Being a local standout as a young basketball player at GlenOak high, Chris was thrilled to open a gym so close to his roots in a community that will always have his heart.

Chris has had the unique opportunity to serve as a motivational speaker for several audiences including Quest Recovery and Prevention Services, Director of Youth Services (one of the roughest juvenile prisons in Ohio), as well as local high school and youth groups.
