DGT serves up Authentic American Tacos, made with unique and delicious flavor combinations. We use the tortilla simply as a platform for a fresh, creative and flavor dynamic meal. We craft our own original beverages - and with the exception of the tortilla, make all ingredients in house. Our restaurant supports over 10 other local Fort Collins businesses including local farms, and independent skilled trade workers.
We first opened in 2012 in Basalt, Colorado as a gourmet quick-stop in the heart of downtown. Over the following year, the restaurant expanded to Fort Collins, Colorado as mobile food cart cooking up tacos at local breweries.
With so much local support in Fort Collins, we officially moved out of Basalt to set up our permanent brick and mortar in Fort Collins. In June 2013, DGT opened a full service hole-in-the wall restaurant in Dalzell Alley. In 2016, DGT was sued by Texas based franchise for name rights. On December 1st we officially changed our legal name to "DGT" to lieu of fighting in court.
We are a happy, sustainably-minded and health focused restaurant. We slow roast all meats in house, and also have an extensive vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free menu. We do not use any additives or artificial ingredients.
