We respond to the basic needs of low-income, unemployed, and working poor people in our community. We do that as simply and directly as possible by providing food, clothing, access to other needed resources, and a safe and friendly space for people to be. We welcome people in need and we do not judge nor do we blame them for their situation. We respect and welcome everyone and strive to meet the needs of the people we serve by getting to know them personally so that we can provide the best support possible.
The Damiano Center was founded by people of faith and our building originally belonged to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Duluth, but we are not affiliated with any religion. We welcome anyone who is in need of our services.
