Dan Sparks Basketball Camps

I hope your season is going very well. Several of you have attended my TEAM CAMPS either at Rose-Hulman in Terre Haute, Indiana or at Vincennes over the years. I would really appreciate an opportunity to serve you and your team again!

This year I will be giving away a 32” flat screen TV at each camp. For every camper a coach brings to camp he will get one chance on the Flat Screen TV, ( example : 10 campers 10 chances).

Rose-Hulman’s facilities are the best in the country. We have suite type dorms, great food with tons of variety in the cafeteria, and six full size regulation courts. Your team will play a schedule that you can help choose. If your team is strong, we can schedule accordingly. If you feel your team needs another year’s seasoning, again we can schedule games that will help your team get more experience.

I am going to add coaching seminars this year. The format will be a round table type discussion. Topics will include:
1.) Man offenses and defenses
2,) Zone offenses and defenses
3.) Press offenses and defenses
4.) Special situations
5.) Rebounding drills
6.) Shooting drills

These discussions will be held during both nights of your stay. I believe this will really add to my Team Camp. Also, we will be having another “buzzer beater” tournament as coaches and players seemed to enjoy it last year.

My camp will provide experience for your team to bond in a secure environment. Quality of officiating improved greatly last year and I expect it to be even better this year. I am committed to having the best available officials, and having two officials on each game.

We will do our best to make sure this is an enjoyable and worthwhile experience for you and your team. If you can get other new teams from other schools to come to camp I have always paid $100 for each team. Please get this information to your JV, and Junior High coaches.
