Daniel Priebe is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under 2nd Degree Black Belt Professor Carlos Eduardo de Araujo Farias. Daniel started his grappling career as a freshman in High School wrestling in 1996. He wrestled at Peoria High School in Peoria Arizona under Coaches Ernie Molina, and Sammy Chagolla who were both 4x State Champions, and multiple time All Americans in College. Daniel’s was part of a 4X State Championship team through his junior year, and was Captain of his wrestling team his senior year. His overall high school record was 132 wins and 9 losses, earning him 3 straight Regional Championships and 3rd place in the State Championships 5A division. Daniel went on to wrestle Division 1 at Arizona State University from 2000 – 2001 under 2x Olympic Gold Medalist Leroy Smith and current UFC fighter Aaron Simpson. Then from 2003 – 2007 Daniel shared his knowledge as an assistant coach for North West Christian High School in Phoenix, AZ. In 2008 he found the love and passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and his grappling experience helped him to quickly excel through the ranks, and prove his skill set through winning multiple International competitions, including American Nationals, Pan Americans, Abu Dhabi Trials, and several other IBJJ International Championships, as well as placing in No Gi Worlds, and Masters World Championship. Daniel also trained Judo for several years, and trained 4 years of Taekwondo & Muay Thai training under 9th Degree Taekwondo Black Belt Deforest Hollingsworth Sr. Daniel has had the privilege of traveling and training with several Legends of Jiu-Jitsu including (Relson Gracie, Royce Gracie, Renor Gracie, Roberto Traven, Fabio Santos, Augusto Tanquinho Mendez, Caio Terra, Carlos Carvalho, Joe Morreira, Megaton Dias, Benson “Smooth” Henderson, Vinicius Draculino, Flavio Almeida, and many, many more. Daniel has a passion for sharing his knowledge and skill set with others as well as continuing his personal growth.
