Worship Services
The first service begins at 8:30 AM in the Sanctuary. We use a variety of contemporary Christian songs in worship. If you like an intimate worship setting filled with moments for contemplation, this is the service for you!

The second service begins at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary. For those who enjoy a “traditional” service, this will make you feel more at home. We have a wonderful organist, pianist, choir, and soloists throughout the year to offer their gifts to God.

FAQs
What time should I get to church? Whether you are an “early bird” or stumble out of bed, there is something for you on Sunday. We offer an 8:30 service, a 9:45 Sunday school, and an 11:00 service with childcare.

What to wear? Come as you are. If you grew up wearing your “Sunday best,” then wear that. If you like the relaxed feel of a T-shirt and jeans. Feel free to wear that. The pastor, Rev. Colby Leonard, will wear a black robe so that he is easily identifiable. We keep the sanctuary at a cool 74 degrees during the summer, so keep that in mind.

Can I take communion if I am not United Methodist? ABSOLUTELY! We believe in an open communion table which means if you are from another christian denomination like baptist or Episcopalian, you are welcome at the Lord’s table. Even if you are not Christian and feel moved to take communion, you are welcome! We believe that communion can be a place where anyone can experience God’s love.

What if I don’t want to take communion? You are totally welcome to remain where you are in the pew or you can also come up and receive a blessing from the pastor. To signal to the pastor that you would like to receive blessing and not communion, please cross your arms on your chest. The pastor will then place a hand on your shoulder and give a blessing.

Where do my kids go after the Children’s sermon? They go to our nursery or kid’s church and are lead by two members of the church. Many of the members have their own children or grandchildren in the nursery or kid’s church, so you can trust that they will take good care of all the kids.
