Dan's Veggies and Poplar Mountain Maple

WELCOME TO OUR FARM!
Back in 2007, our youngest son “Dan” was in a need of job to keep him occupied. However, when you are 14 years old, there aren’t many job opportunities out there so Mom and Dad (Jacquie & Warren) suggested growing a few extra veggies and selling them in front of our house. It was a success that summer and along with some help from Mom and Dad, Dan’s Veggies grew and continued to be Dan’s summer job until the summer of 2011. What happened in 2011? Dan got a job as a welder and moved on! Alas what to do with “Dan’s Veggies”? We decided to continue on with the family business and keep the name as “Dan’s Veggies” as a reminder that working together as a family reaps its rewards! So the tradition of growing vegetables to sell at the roadside continues today with Warren and Jacquelyn Boyden as the owners and farmers. All our vegetables and the Maple Syrup are grown or made here at our farm. The eggs are local from friends in Erving and are free range.
