More about Dartmouth College Student Assembly

The Student Assembly is the official student government of the College. The purpose of the Assembly is to coalesce and strengthen student participation in the College’s decision-making process. Members of SA serve on various College Committees, and the Assembly itself has its own committees that provide structure for discussion and action.

Composed of elected student representatives and delegates, the Assembly is responsible for representing student opinions and concerns to other constituencies of the Dartmouth community, including trustees, administrators, faculty, and staff.

The president, vice-president, and at-large members of the Assembly are elected by a campus-wide election in the spring term; members from the first-year class are elected in the fall term.

The Student Assembly office is located in Collis Center, room 301 A. Feel free to stop by.

We’re here to serve you.
